Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 11, 2026.
This is a placeholder privacy policy. Replace with a full policy generated by a privacy-policy service (Termly, iubenda, or similar) before publishing the site beyond the dev preview. The text below covers the basics but is not a substitute for a properly-drafted policy that reflects the jurisdictions you operate in.
What we collect
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4: anonymized page views, session length, country-level location, browser/device. No personally identifying data.
- Email addresses when you voluntarily subscribe to a newsletter (when we launch one). We use these to send you the emails you signed up for. We don’t sell or share email lists.
- Comments and contact emails when you choose to send them. We keep these to respond and don’t share them with third parties beyond what’s required to operate the site.
Cookies
We use cookies for:
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4): anonymized. You can opt out via your browser or via the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Affiliate tracking: when you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer sets a cookie. We don’t read that cookie; the retailer uses it to credit us with the referral if you buy something or sign up. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
- Display ads: when we’re approved for an ad network, those networks may set cookies for ad personalization. You’ll see a consent banner where you can opt out.
Your rights
If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Email hello@fernandfeline.com with your request.
Third parties
Data may be processed by:
- Google Analytics (analytics)
- Amazon, ShareASale, Awin, Impact, and direct retailer programs (affiliate tracking, when you click those links)
- Pet insurance providers and pet supply retailers (when you click those affiliate links)
- Our ad network (when one is active)
- Our email provider (when a newsletter is active)
We don’t sell personal data.
Children’s privacy
This site isn’t directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
